Each year the Midwest City Rotary Club gathers at the Midwest City Community Center to host one of the largest and most fun banquets in town. Guests are treated to shrimp, crawfish, sausage, corn, potatoes and all the other fixin’s. Attendees also enjoy live music with a live and silent auction. This is a wonderful event that allows our club to work and fellowship with each other and the members of the community that support our

Time to get ready for the best week of the year… RYLA!!! And WOW, has it been a crazy year. Last year, as you know, we decided to lean into the challenges of the pandemic. Working with our team of Alumni (Counselors, etc.), we created eRYLA, which was held in July of 2020. We were delightfully surprised at how the students progressed through eRYLA so similarly to what we expect to see in person. We also saw virtually no attrition. They learned so much, grew so much and had fun!
BASIC CAMP RYLA INFORMATION July 7-11, 2021
Each student receives a secure login with access to our unique website (all Zoom links and activities are built into the site) and a retreat crate (with all of their supplies for eRYLA activities). We would love to schedule a time to Zoom in to one of your club meetings to present this program.Costs: Camper = $300 (first year students) Trailblazers = $300 (second year students) Junior and Senior Counselors, as well as other admin staff (all alumni): Included in program costs.

End of Year Celebration
As our Rotary year comes to an end, we will celebrate at Dunlap Codding located at: 609 W Sheridan Ave, Oklahoma City, OK 73102. Our President will introduce the new President and new board members. Thanks for a wonderful year and we look forward to the new year!!!
New Volunteer Coordinator with The Employment Education Ministry Let's Welcome Matt Staples with TEEM. He replaced Nikki our past volunteer coordinator. His background is in College Ministry and recently relocated here from the wonderful state of Florida. He has been married to his wife Abby a little over 7 months. He will share with us the good works he does for TEEM and how we as Rotarians can help. |
