Let's Welcome Todd Goodman with OKC Riversports. He will speak to our club about the 2 latest additions to the OKC Riversports Lake Overholser Boathouse and Lake Hefner Boathouse and the ammenities that are availalbe to the community.RIVERSPORT’s Lake Overholser Boathouse is located on the east shore of Lake Overholser just south of the historic Route 66 bridge, and offers access to the North Canadian River and Stinchcomb Wildlife Refuge for rowing, kayaking and stand up paddle boarding. RIVERSPORT Adventures at Lake Overholser include a “stunt jump” free fall, a giant swing, and a double zip line across the water. Stand up paddle boards and kayaks plus lessons and coached programs are also available. Guided group paddling excursions into the adjacent Stinchcomb Wildlife Refuge are available by reservation, and both sunset and full moon paddles are held throughout the season. Note: Adventures at Lake Overholser are currently closed due to COVID-19 RIVERSPORT’s Lake Hefner Boathouse is located on the south shore of the lake next to the marina [directions] and offers sailing camps and lessons.Just a short distance away at Hobie Point, RIVERSPORT also offers stand up paddle boarding and kayak rentals daily during the season [hours].Lake Hefner Boathouse 4407 S.
