I'm reaching out from OSDE with the Office of College and Career Readiness to see if there's a possibility to meet and eventually speak to your members about current efforts my department is making in regards to career exploration and workforce development. We have partnered with Career Tech to create an online free platform, Connect2Business that will further connect our schools and employers/businesses from across the state. We encourage all businesses and organizations to consider opening their doors to working with students in hopes of expanding career knowledge and interest in their future occupations. I personally work to assist businesses and schools with developing work-based learning opportunities - such as internships, job shadows, PT jobs, guest speakers, etc..
